This patient had severe acne scarring as well as significant sun damage. Following combined resurfacing she has a significant decrease in the pitted scars and improvement in the overall texture of the skin. Note the improvement in both the hyperpigmented sun-spots near her nose, as well as an improvement in the acne scarring on the lower face and chin.

This is a 67 year old woman who was concerned with the lines around her mouth, especially those on her upper lip. The upper lip lines responded well to the CO2 Laser treatment. It is important to note that fold lines from the edge of the nose to the corner of the mouth and those from the corner of the mouth to the chin are very difficult lines to correct. The recommended treatment for these lines are fillers such as Collagen, Restylane or Radiesse (Radiance). The post operative pictures shown were taken 2 years after her procedure. The patient is very pleased with her results.

This patient demonstrates the pitted scars on the cheeks and the temple region which are significantly reduced in the post-operative photo following combined resurfacing. The lateral view again shows the significant reduction in the deep scars following combined resurfacing.
